Macbeth at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival was my first time being a first hand. We created costumes from scratch for the 1st witch, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and the apparitions. We altered and made half kilts for nearly the whole cast. As well as altering multiple other jackets and armor for the cast.
